Our in-house experts assist with the wide range of legal and ethical problems that arise from professional practice. This can include clinical negligence claims, complaints, medical and dental council inquiries, legal and ethical dilemmas, disciplinary procedures, inquests and fatal accident inquiries.
A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of External Relations to join our Communications department in our London office.
As a senior member of the Communications team, the Head of External Relations is a key role. You will oversee and implement our external relations strategy to help us create a compelling voice with policymakers, politicians, stakeholders and the media. Your strategic advice on public policy, political issues and our media activity will help us achieve our goal as the leading influencer in the UK and worldwide.
With previous experience of management, you will lead several high performance teams including the Public Affairs, Policy and Media teams, and provide expert advice and guidance to MPS’ Executive and senior leadership.
To succeed in this role you will have demonstrable experience of shaping and influencing policy, improving stakeholder engagement, managing an organisation’s reputation and securing positive media coverage, preferably in a commercial context. In depth procedural knowledge of the UK and devolved nations Parliaments and Assemblies is also necessary. Ideally, you may even have worked in one.
