European Association Awards Brussels 2017 – Best Training Initiative
Our team of Association specialists at Ellwood Atfield Brussels, led by Mark Dober and Rachel Barlow was nominated for Best Training Initiative for the Association Leadership Academy. The Academy aims to be the pre-eminent institution for leaders, members and secretariat staff of European and international associations. In the last 12 months, it has provided education, skills, networking and training to over 400 association leaders. With a winning combination of high level speakers and grounded association expertise, the Academy has garnered valuable support from the wider association community.
The next Association Leadership Academy session on 21st March is on Leadership and High Performing Cross Functional Teams, and is in partnership with The Center for Creative Leadership.
The Association Excellence Awards 2017 – Best Association Supplier
Gavin Ellwood leads Ellwood Atfield’s Association Practice, which specialises in the appointment of senior leaders, advising the boards of trade associations and professional bodies on the appointment of Directors General, Chief Executives and their communications teams. The EA team is nominated for Best Association Supplier for the second year in a row, for work that includes hiring ICAEW’s new Director of Communications and Brand, the Director of Public Affairs for ABTA and the Chief Executive of The Publishers Association. We are currently recruiting for Great British Racing to appoint its new Communications & Marketing Director.

The UK award ceremony will take place on Friday 31st March 2017 at The Hurlingham Club, London. Last year, this memorable celebration was attended by 430 association professionals where 16 awards were presented.
